Tobie Louw was born and raised on a farm in Paarl, South Africa. His respect for nature was instilled during hikes in the Cederberg Mountains when his dad said, “take only pictures and leave only footprints.”

Tobie promotes change in our world by showing respect for Nature. His wife Marly and two boys, Eben (10) and Charlie (7), are also involved in finding solutions to keep our planet healthy.

With a Master’s in Economics and Logistics at University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, Tobie has earned international business, sales and enablement for software, cloud, data and digital transformation in cutting edge technology at Global corporations like Oracle, Hewlett-Packard, BMC Software, Alibaba, and Google Cloud.

Tobie joined Clean Oceans International (COI) in 2018 to make a difference in human behavior believing that plastics represent danger to our oceans and our planet.
