Desmond Fonyuy Wysenyuy is a Cameroonian who currently resides in Nigeria. He is a Space advocate who is enthusiastic in achieving UN-SDGs come 2030. He believes Space tech literacy is the key to any fast-growing economy. He has a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering with specialty in Electronics and Telecommunications engineering at Catholic University Institute of Buea, Cameroon.
Desmond has a Masters of Technology in Space Science and Technology; specialized in Satellite Communications from African Regional Center for Space Science and Technology Education (ARCSSTEE) affiliated to UNOOSA. He has several certifications and has published several papers in international journals with focus on antenna designs. He currently works as a Scientific Research Officer/ Ass. Lecturer in African Regional Institute for Geospatial Information Science and Technology (AFRIGIST), Nigeria under the auspices of UNECA. Also, Desmond is the founder and CEO of SpaceGate foundation; a non-profit in Africa, with the primary goal to create awareness, provide training and development to young Africans by enabling them to have the right caliber of skills required for the new space economy and eventually pick up a career in the space domain.
He is also a Teacher Liaison for Space Foundation, Colorado, USA. Desmond has great interest in nano satellite designs, space debris research, wireless communication systems with focus on decentralized Information Management, selforganized service recovery, cognitive management of transport resources systems taking into account protocol, network and radio aspects as well as their combination, foundations for flexible future mobile communication networks, mechanisms for the autonomous, dynamic and distributed coordination of future mobile communication systems.

Mr. Mounir Alafrangy is the Space Exploration Manager for Deep Space Solutions (DSS). With a master’s in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from The George Washington University, 2018, Mr. Alafrangy has over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience spearheading several innovations from concept to prototype as well as providing project management in diverse fields including mechanical and systems engineering, and prototype development.
Mr. Alafrangy knows a bit about isolation and being quarantined. In October 2019, he successfully completed a 45-day confined space mission at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. He was one of four crew members, known as analog astronauts, who were selected from a large pool of applicants to be part of the Human Exploration Research Analog (HERA) Mission XX. HERA is a ground-based analog used by NASA’s Human Research Program to study the effects of isolation and confinement on humans. The research being done there will help NASA better understand the hazards of human spaceflight as it prepares to send astronauts to the Moon and on to Mars and bring them safely home. During his analog mission to the Martian moon of Phobos, he participated in activities similar to those performed on the International Space Station such as simulated cargo transfers with the Canadarm, virtual EVAs, Lunar Landing Control, Spaceship Maintenance, and sample evaluation.
While completing his degree at GWU, Mr. Alafrangy’s research focused on creating mechanisms that will mitigate the physiological risks associated with long duration space travel and improve human health on deep space missions.

Internationally renowned outer space architect, John Spencer, is a leading expert in the creation and design of structures and facilities for outer space, such as the International Space Station for NASA, as well as space-themed destinations on Earth. His visionary designs and projects span future and science-fiction themed entertainment and space-related properties around the globe, including space theme parks, space resorts and simulations, camps, museums, visitor centers and more.
While John has served as conceptual designer for some of the world's largest corporations, through his initiative he has created numerous concepts and designs contributing to the expansion of space tourism. He is actively involved in the design and development of Marsthemed immersive attractions.
John’s leadership in the field includes founding the Space Tourism Society, dedicated to research and education, with chapters around the globe; co-author of Space Tourism—Do You Want To Go?, a resourceful application of the yachting and cruise ship industry models to the developing industry of space tourism; chair and co-producer for numerous National Space Society [NSS] events; and, as a trusted speaker and consultant. Most recently he was a key participant in the launch of PayPal Galactic.
NASA awarded John with the Space Act Award and the Certificate of Recognition for innovative architectural design work on the International Space Station (ISS). He also created the first interior designs on the SpaceHab Module, flown in over a dozen orbits. For the National Science Foundation, he designed the Antarctic Science Base; and for NOAA, he designed the interiors of the Aquarius Underwater LabHab currently in operation.
As a principal authority about the complexities involved in the growing field of space tourism, John has participated in over 200 media interviews in the past 15 years. He has appeared on television and radio shows, as well as in major publications.
